Surroundings Villa Daphne is located in the heart of the old city centre Kaleici, the middle of the centre of Antalya. This city is also known as the pearl of the Turkish Riviera and is very attractive with its long boulevards with palm trees, relaxing beaches, spectacular mountain views and old city centre. The city was built in the second century B.C. and was once a fortified town. The fortified centre consists of narrow alleys and wooden houses that were built against the city walls and is now called Kaleici. This atmospheric picturesque old part of the city is perfect for shopping and sightseeing in the day time. There are also a few small cosy beaches within 10 minutes walking distance. In the evening you can visit one of the many cheap authentic Turkish restaurants, live Turkish music bars or even a disco in the harbour. The Yacht harbour is considered to be one of the most beautiful ones in Turkey. For more information about the activities in Antalya go to Antalya Central. | | |
